File Sorter

Cleanup without the dread

File Sorter walks through a folder one item at a time. For each one you see a preview and pick delete, move or organize, rename, or skip.

It runs a tiny web server on 127.0.0.1 only, and every request needs a random per-run token that is put in the opened URL, so another page in your browser cannot drive it.

Nothing is permanent

Delete means the Recycle Bin, never a permanent delete. Each batch writes an undo file listing what moved where, so a bad sort can be reversed. I wrote it to clear out my C: drive.
